Do you remember what it felt like to imagine when you were little?
Maybe you built castles from clouds or held conversations with the moon.
You didn’t question if it was real — you simply knew it was.
That’s the wild, alive part of us that knows how to create.
Not from strategy or spreadsheets, but from that curious spark that says,
“What if…?”
Even Albert Einstein, one of the greatest minds we’ve ever known, said that imagination is more important than knowledge.
Knowledge tells us what already exists.
Imagination shows us what’s possible next.

Imagination is how you participate with creation itself. It’s not about escaping reality; it’s how you shape it.
When you imagine something vividly enough, your brain fires the same pathways as if you were living it.
Science has shown this again and again: the brain doesn’t know the difference between a vividly imagined moment and a lived one.
So, in a way, you’re not pretending. You’re preparing.
You’re training your nervous system to recognise what alignment feels like before it arrives.
Close your eyes for a moment and picture something that feels expansive.
Maybe it’s a project you’d love to bring to life.
Maybe it’s a moment of peace you crave more often.
See yourself there, really there.
Notice the colours, the air, the feeling in your body.
Breathe into that image until it starts to feel familiar.
That’s not fantasy.
That’s your creative intelligence lighting up, saying,
“Yes, this is safe. This is possible. This is mine to create.”
Do this often enough, and it becomes your body’s new normal — not a dream, but a direction.
Caroline Myss once wrote that imagination isn’t about what’s unreal; it’s about perceiving what our senses can’t yet see.
I love that.
It’s the reminder that imagination isn’t childish; it’s divine play.
It’s how the soul speaks in images before the mind can make sense of them.
When we stop dismissing our imagination as “just a daydream,”
We start seeing it as a sacred conversation with what wants to be created through us.

What are you imagining most often, consciously or unconsciously?
Are your inner pictures shaped by limitation or by liberation?
What would shift if you treated your imagination as an ally, not an escape?
Imagination is not a luxury. It’s the first step in creation. It’s how your inner world whispers, “Come this way.”
You don’t have to force creativity, just play with possibility.
Let yourself be curious again.
Follow the flicker of what delights you.
Because the moment you imagine something new, your whole system begins to rearrange around it.
So, go ahead and imagine wildly.
Let your mind paint with light, colour, and laughter.
Because in that space, you’re not just thinking — you’re creating.
And that, my friend, is where the magic begins.
It means that imagination isn’t fantasy — it’s the neurological and energetic rehearsal space for creation. When you vividly imagine a desired outcome, your brain and body respond as though it’s real, training your system to recognise and manifest that state. Imagination is how you participate with consciousness to co-create your reality.

On Wadawurrung Country, stretching from the Great Dividing Range in the north to the southern coast and from the Werribee River in the east to the Surf Coast in the west, we honour the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our deepest respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge their enduring connection to the land, waters, and community. We also celebrate the rich stories, culture, and traditions of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders who live and work on this land.
